St. Louis Skating Club hosts the annual holiday exhibition at the Brentwood Ice Rink. This show is open to all current club members – Home Club, Junior Club and Associates – in good standing and is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating. Admission is free and open to the public.

GENERAL RULES

  • Online skater and group registration are now available here. 
  • Groups require just one application with all skaters names listed on the paper application.
  • Skaters must use holiday-themed music or a competition piece with pre-approval of the exhibition chair.
  • Music should accompany each entry if possible.

  • A short warm-up/practice time will be offered immediately preceding the exhibition.
  • Solos are $25 and group numbers are $40.

ENTRIES

  • Deadline: Sunday, November 19.
  • Completed online form with payment must be received by the chair on or before the entry deadline.
  • All entries will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, so you are encouraged to return your entry form as soon as possible.
  • No refunds will be issued after the schedule is posted.
  • If you wish to withdraw from the show prior to the posting of the schedule you must contact the chair for a refund.
  • The exhibition is officially-sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating. Associate members must provide permission slips from their home club.

PROGRAM LENGTH

  • The maximum skating time for solo and pair numbers is 3 minutes. Program length should be appropriate to competition level.

SCHEDULE

  • The official schedule will be posted a week before the exhibition and will be final. A short warm-up/practice time will be offered immediately preceding the exhibition.

Our Mission

The mission of St. Louis Skating Club is to promote, encourage and improve all areas of amateur skating, in all disciplines. St. Louis Skating Club encourages a fraternal feeling among ice skaters and strives to raise the standard and level of figure skating by encouraging testing and competitive skating and by providing skaters access to qualified club-approved coaches.
