What is the Spring Show?

This is a chance for all of our Learn to Skate skaters and figure skaters to celebrate their season and show off all of their hard work! Registrations are being taken at the front desk for groups, soloists and duets – skaters ranging from Snowplow 1 through Freestyle are welcome! Must be working with a private coach to sign up as a soloist or duet – if not, you will be put in a group of similar age and levels!!

How do I sign up?

Please see the front counter and sign up – give them your age and last class you were in if signing up for a group – ALL SKATERS MUST TURN IN THE FORM BELOW AS WELL AS SIGN UP AT THE COUNTER!

When are rehearsals?

Mondays April 10 & 17 and Saturdays, April 15 & 22

Snowplow1-4 and Basic 1-2 – Mondays - 5:45 – 6:15/ Saturdays -10:45 – 11:15

Basic 3 – Freestyle Group – Mondays 6:15 – 6:45/ Saturdays 11:15 – 11:45

Soloists can use any of the above times to practice – just give way to the group numbers!

Skaters a part of a group MUST be able to make 3 out of the 4 rehearsals

What do we wear?

Students may be asked to wear leggings and or jeans with certain color t-shirt or turtle neck, but we will supply the rest. Costume info will be given out the first week of rehearsals!!

What do we skate to?

Group music will be provided but soloist/duets music must pertain to the theme and must be approved by Gina. Music length is up to a minute for Basic levels 1 – 6 and up to two minutes for 7 and higher – or approved by Gina.

Basic Skills Group: $15/ Solos: $30/ Additional Soloist $15

St. Louis Skating Club encourages a fraternal feeling among ice skaters and strives to raise the standard and level of figure skating by encouraging testing and competitive skating and by providing skaters access to qualified club-approved coaches.
