Jeanne Schulte Galbraith

Jeanne Katherine Schulte (May 29, 1921 – November 7, 2012) was the 1935 National Junior pairs champion with partner Ollie Haupt, Jr. Jeanne turned professional then she taught for a season in Michigan. She also performed in a Chicago hotel show and the World’s Fair held in New York. She toured with the Ice Follies until she retired from skating in August 1943. Jeanne married Sheldon Galbraith on September 24, 1943. Sheldon was a master-rated coach and founder and first president of the Professional Skaters’ Association of Canada.
