Sally Knoll Sportsmanship Award
This award is given to a skater who demonstrates exceptional fairness, respect, and integrity both on and off the field, embodying the true spirit of sportsmanship. This individual’s conduct and attitude inspire fellow members and contribute positively to the overall sporting community.
The Sally Knoll Award honors the legacy of Sally Knoll, a dedicated member, mentor, and coach whose commitment, leadership, and encouragement left a lasting impact on our community. This award recognizes individuals who embody the same spirit of service, sportsmanship, and positive influence that Sally exemplified throughout her years of involvement.
Ace of Tests Award
The “Ace of Tests” award is bestowed upon the skater who has achieved the highest number of successful test completions in a single season, showcasing remarkable dedication. This recognition highlights their exceptional diligence and commitment to mastering the sport of figure skating. This award may be given to a single skater or one adult member and one junior member.
Herman Masheck Volunteer Award
The volunteer award is given to an individual who has selflessly dedicated their time and effort to the club. This recipient demonstrates a strong commitment to making a positive impact on our skating community and serving the greater good.
The Herman Masheck Volunteer Award honors Herman Masheck’s dedication and commitment to the club through his countless hours of volunteer service. Known for faithfully arriving each day to set up the music system and ensure skaters had the music they needed, Herman played an important behind-the-scenes role in creating a positive and supportive environment for everyone on the ice. This award recognizes volunteers whose reliability, generosity, and willingness to help reflect the same spirit Herman brought to the club every day.
