The St. Louis Sports Commission invites the community to join a celebration of Olympic & Paralympic Day on Friday, June 20 at 10 a.m. at Francis Olympic Field on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis.
As America’s first Olympic city, St. Louis will mark the occasion in a uniquely memorable way. The free, family-friendly event will feature Olympic-themed activities, an inspiring Q&A with Olympic Gold Medalists Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Brian Boitano, and a community run/walk around the historic 1904 Olympic stadium track alongside Olympians and Paralympians in attendance.
All ages are welcome, and each participant will receive a red, white, and blue Olympic Day headband to commemorate the day.
This celebration highlights St. Louis’ rich Olympic legacy and supports the Sports Commission’s ongoing mission to create a positive impact in the region through its role as an Olympic City. The event also builds excitement as St. Louis prepares to host the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in January, a key event leading into the Winter Olympics in Milan.
