The numbers are in—and the impact is impressive. A recent economic impact study found that the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships generated $15.8 million for the St. Louis region, including more than $10.3 million in direct visitor spending, nearly 25,000 hotel room nights, and almost $1 million in state and local sales tax revenue. The week-long event also welcomed more than 91,000 fans, with two-thirds traveling from outside the region.
Beyond the economic benefits, visitors praised St. Louis as a host city, highlighting its friendly atmosphere, outstanding venues, and memorable hospitality. National television coverage, extensive media attention, and millions of social media impressions also helped showcase St. Louis to audiences across the country.
